Privacy Policy
USA Jobs Board ("we," "us") is operated by TRUiC (The Really Useful Information Company). This policy explains what information we collect when you use usajobsboard.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: you can use this site without creating an account, and we collect very little.
Information we collect
Information you provide: currently, none is required. Browsing and searching listings requires no account, registration, or personal details. If we introduce features such as email job alerts or resume tools, we will collect only the information those features need (such as an email address) and update this policy before doing so.
Information collected automatically: like nearly all websites, our hosting and security infrastructure (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps to serve the site and prevent abuse. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and site usage, including pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referring source, scrolling, and clicks on outbound links such as the employer's application page. We do not send job-application contents, resumes, or information you enter on an employer's site to Google Analytics. We do not build individual visitor profiles, and we do not sell personal information.
Cookies
Site functionality does not require cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly
necessary cookies for security purposes (such as bot protection).
Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies, including
_ga, to distinguish visits and produce aggregate reports.
Advertising storage and Google advertising signals are disabled in our
Analytics configuration. You can block or delete cookies through your
browser settings, or use the
Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
If we ever introduce advertising or marketing cookies, we will update
this policy and provide appropriate notices and choices first.
Google Analytics
Google processes Analytics data on our behalf under its service terms. You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services on Google's partner-sites privacy page. Analytics data helps us evaluate which states, job categories, and listings are useful and whether visitors reach an employer's application page. A listing may later expire or be removed, but its historical, aggregate traffic remains useful for measuring the site's performance.
Third-party sites
Every job listing links to the employer's own application page on an external site. Once you leave usajobsboard.com, the privacy policy of that site applies โ anything you submit in a job application (resume, contact details, answers) goes to the employer or their applicant tracking system, not to us. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site where you apply.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar state laws), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a business holds about you, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. To exercise any right or ask a question, contact [email protected] โ we will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.
Children
This site is a general-audience job board and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date. Material changes that affect how we handle personal information will be highlighted on the site.
