Job Summary
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Student Nurse for our Med Surg Unit located within the Edgewood Hospital. Shift/Hours: Part Time, 40 hours bi-weekly, 3P-11P Job Description: The Student Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of a RN or LPN.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living.
- Provides for personal care & comfort.
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. Education, Credentials, Licenses:
- High School diploma or GED
- Currently enrolled in good standing at an accredited nursing program
- Successful completion of first clinical rotation in an accredited nursing program
- Not listed on Kentucky or Indiana Abuse Registry Specialized Knowledge:
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer knowledge
