The Work: As an Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) Procure to Pay (P2P) Techno-Functional Analyst, you will lead functional design, analysis, and production support activities across core Oracle EBS Procurement and Payables modules.

Your role centers on translating business requirements into scalable functional solutions, designing RICEW components, supporting federal compliance needs, and ensuring stable end to end P2P operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical developers, and cross functional teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance system capabilities, and maintain data integrity across Purchasing, iProcurement, Accounts Payable, and related federal integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed functional design for Oracle EBS P2P modules including Purchasing, iProcurement, Accounts Payable, PRISM/EBS, Sunflower/EBS, Travel System (E2)/EBS, IGT, IPP and other custom integrations.
  • Lead functional design of Reports, Interfaces, Extensions, and Workflows supporting P2P processes such as requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoice validation, and payment processing.
  • Analyze business and functional requirements to determine appropriate functional solutions aligned with procurement and payables workflows.
  • Develop functional specifications and support customizations to meet performance, compliance, and operational goals.
  • Create and maintain user support documentation, process guides, and training materials for standard P2P and federal procurement transactions.
  • Respond to incidents and service desk tickets, troubleshoot user issues, and ensure timely resolution of P2P production problems.
  • Participate in SIT/UAT cycles, execute functional test scripts, validate fixes, and resolve defects impacting P2P modules.
  • Conduct functional reviews, support code migration activities, and provide deployment readiness artifacts.
  • Support month end, quarter end, and year end close activities by troubleshooting issues affecting Purchasing, Receiving, AP Invoice Validation, and Payments.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring production issues and recommend long term corrective actions.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to refine functional needs and identify process improvements.
  • Validate data integrity across P2P modules, federal IGT/IPP interfaces, and supplier data; support reconciliation during deployments or system changes.
  • Provide user guidance on best practices for Oracle P2P processes and federal procurement/IGT compliance workflows.
  • Support integration activities with external systems (e.g., IPP, G Invoicing, vendor systems), ensuring interface logic meets functional requirements. ‘
  • Assist with configuration management and documentation of setups across Purchasing, AP, iProcurement, and IGT/IPP processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal procurement regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls related to P2P operations. Here’s what you need:
