Unix Engineer (Mid-Level) - Bilingual in Korean

Company Description Location: Taylor, Tx Full-Time / Onsite Contract Term We are seeking a skilled Unix Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to manage, maintain, and optimize Unix/Linux environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and supporting enterprise applications in Unix-based servers. Job Description Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers and related applications

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups
• Collaborate with application teams to support deployment and performance tuning
• Ensure security, compliance, and disaster recovery procedures are in place
• Automate routine tasks using scripting (Shell, Perl, Python, etc.)
• Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures

Qualifications

3-5 years of Unix/Linux system administration experience

• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and commands
• Experience with Shell scripting or other automation tools
• Knowledge of system monitoring, backup, and recovery processes
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good communication and team collaboration skills
• Experience with cloud-based Unix environments (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Exposure to database or middleware administration
