Our 14-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU) offers a close-knit, collaborative setting where nurses are empowered to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care alongside a skilled interdisciplinary team.

As a Registered Nurse in the CCU, you’ll play a vital role in managing complex cardiac patients, using advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking to guide care from assessment through evaluation. Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, reliable, and evidence-based patient care in a dynamic critical care environment
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
  • Implement and evaluate care using the nursing process and best practices
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Apply specialized knowledge across psychological, social, physical, and biological sciences

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of accredited nursing program required
  • BSN degree preferred Experience:
  • Prefer one (1) year of hospital clinical experience or demonstrated clinical efficiency. License(s)/Certification(s):
  • Possess current RN licensure in the State of Iowa or compact state
  • Maintain Current BLS Certification
