• Design, Development and Deployment A broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware, software, systems and solutions development and a across more than one technical domain.
• Demonstrated experience in real world IT or other solutions environments including creating (on your own or with a team) a product or IT solution in the area of Big Data/Analytics
• Strong technical team leadership, mentorship and collaboration.
• Ability to develop technical relationships with end-users, architects and Proof-Of-Concept engineers.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment. Current hands-on implementation experience required; individual contributors only need apply.
• Deep understanding of database and analytical technologies in the industry including MPP databases, noSQL storage Big Data Security including Hadoop security and emerging technologies such as im-memory and NoSQL Programming language -- Java (must), Python, Scala, Ruby Batch processing -- Hadoop MapReduce, Cascading/Scalding, Apache Spark Stream processing -- Apache Storm, AKKA, Samza, Spark streaming NoSQL -- HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra, Riak, ETL Tools Data Stage, Informatica, Code/
• Build/Deployment -- git, hg, svn, maven, sbt, jenkins, bamboo Technologies that we use include: Java Hadoop/MapReduce Flume, Kafka MemSQL, NoSQL, RDBMS Pig, Python, Ruby Hive Tableau Integration, R ETL
• BS in Computer Science or related area Software development experience Minimum 3-4 Year
• Experience on Big Data Platform
