We currently have an opportunity for a Forklift Operator at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta. The Forklift Operator is a critical part of our warehouse team, responsible for shipping, storing, and receiving inventory as well as providing sanitation support for the entire warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift to load, unload, and transfer products, pallets, boxes, and other materials within the warehouse and into trucks and/or railcars acc ording to shipping schedule; o perate other equipment for shipping, as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory while storing and loadin g, p ractic ing first in/first out
- Monitor all equipment for wear and potential damage, and perform related preventative maintenance as required
- Maintain Master Sanitation Schedules and other HAACP documentation , performing scheduled cleaning of equipment
- Re-palletize and rework products , and p repare products for regrind process
- Maintain safety and quality in a high - paced environment
Qualifications
- H igh school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- Able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- E xperience operating a forklift
- E xperience in a food manufacturing facility Physical

Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Crouch, stoop, reach above shoulders, bend, balance, climb, work on ladder, push, pull, grasp, feel, perform fine manipulation, operate foot pedals, lift/carry, sit, stand and walk for extended periods
