- Maintain and complete accurate records.
- Operate microtome, embed centers, and tissue processors .
- Ability to perform automated hematoxylin and eosin staining. Must stay within GLP compliance at all times.
Qualifications
Must be experienced in preparing paraffin tissue specimens. American Society for Clinical Pathology (Histology Technician) certification desirable.
- Must be familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines.
- Must be self motivated and have a strong attention to detail. Good communication skills required.
