• Lead daily operations and long-term planning to ensure a thriving Montessori environment Uphold and model Montessori philosophy with fidelity across classrooms Mentor and coach guides and assistants with positivity, accountability, and purpose
• Oversee Montessori curriculum integrity alongside state licensing requirements
• Ensure full compliance with all state childcare licensing regulations
• Build warm, trusting relationships with families through clear and consistent communication
• Manage staff performance, scheduling, and professional development
• Oversee budget, enrollment, and facility operations

What Makes You a Great Fit

21+ years old and meet Georgia Director qualifications Montessori Certification: A teaching credential from an accredited institution such as AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) or AMS (American Montessori Society) required. Montessori Administrator Credential: Specific certification in Montessori Leadership or Administration (e.g., from Seton Montessori Institute or AMS) preferred. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Educational Leadership, or a related field is standard; master's degree preferred.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of classroom experience as a Montessori guide and 1–3 years of administrative experience (e.g., as an assistant director or head teacher).
• Understanding:
• Strong comprehension of Montessori philosophy and classroom practice. State Licensing: The director must meet all state-specific DHS/OCDEL regulations for childcare center directors. Leadership Skills:
• Demonstrated skills in staff management, budget oversight, communication with parents, and facility management. Leadership approach: A calm, reflective, and collaborative approach to leadership. Communication skills:
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
