Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test, and document complex distributed software applications and infrastructure automation tools, systems and services. Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture.
• Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance. Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation.
• Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.
• Lead and define engineering best practices and operational excellence standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain solutions that benefit multiple teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation, improve practices and propose efficiency-enhancing projects.
• Contribute to operational planning, readiness and risk mitigation.
• Review technical artifacts including code, designs, test plans, and documentation. Position

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have three years of experience in the following skill(s): designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using Python, C#, Java, and AWS tools.
