Job description
Application Engineering & Technical Leadership.
- Serve as primary engineering interface across manufacturing plants,global product engineering, and customers to ensure alignment of technical requirements. Interpret specifications,drawings, and system requirements to define validated manufacturing and application solutions.
- Lead feasibility studies, tolerance analysis,manufacturability assessments, and capability evaluations for new applications and localization initiatives.
- Assess technical risks, process constraints, and design limitations; recommend engineering solutions to ensure robust product performance.
- Support module adaptation and industrialization, ensuring compatibility with regional manufacturing processes,tooling, and supplier capabilities. Engineering Change Management & Implementation.
- Execute engineering changes (ECR/ECN),coordinating with design, manufacturing,quality, purchasing, and suppliers.
- Assess impacts on form, fit, function, cost, and process capability; ensure proper validation,qualification, and PPAP compliance.
- Support production trials, validation testing,and implementation readiness across regional operations. Costing, Quotation & Customer

- Provide engineering input for quotations, including materials,processes, equipment, and labor assumptions.
- Perform technical cost analysis and support competitive manufacturing strategies.
- Support customer discussions by explaining technical feasibility, manufacturing constraints, and application solutions. Supplier & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with purchasing and supplier quality teams to evaluate and approve suppliers based on technical and process requirements. Product Lifecycle Management
- Support product lifecycle activities including ramp-up, localization, production transfers,and end-of-life management.
- Maintain engineering risk assessments, action plans,and validation strategies throughout the lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's
- Degree Required, Engineering or business preferred - 5+ years of experience with Hardware development in automotive domain - 2+ years of experience in project management. or equivalent -
- Strong cooperation and communication skills. -
