Responsibilities
Integrate development and deployment tools to streamline the engineering process Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning and monitoring operating system and software and servers Deploy code as needed This will be a hands on position, your time will be evenly divided between working on servers and getting hands on development The environment you will be in is 90% linux, and 10% windows.
Requirements
7+ years of hands on experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Experience with a scripting language (Bash, Shell, Python, Ruby, etc.)
- Experience working with cloud platforms and cloud automation tools
- Experience with either Chef or Ruby
- Experience hand coding in Java Pluses
- Experience working in an e-commerce environment
- Experience leading a team
