Job Summary

• Provide Athletic Training services in a safe and effective manner to student athletes and sports performance clients, in accordance with the Missouri State Athletic Training Practice Act.
• Identify, report, address, and triage a variety of sports related injuries that pertain to the athletes at the school, event, or clinic where coverage is being rendered.
• Facilitate and coordinate the care of injured athletes at CoxHealth designated locations while under the direction of the CoxHealth Sports Medicine Director. Job

Education

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited institution
• Preferred: Masters Degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited institution Experience
• Preferred: Previous athletic training experience Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams Licensure/Certification/Registration
• Required: Missouri Athletic Training License that is both active and in good standing AND BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire Job
