Overview
A lovely family in Sunny Isles, FL is seeking a Private Early Childhood Educator to support the learning and development of their two and a half year old daughter. This bright toddler is already fluently bilingual in Spanish and English and engages in full conversations well beyond her age level. The family is looking for a well rounded educator who can introduce age appropriate concepts and broader early learning enrichment for a toddler.
This is not a language-focused position. Spanish is a plus, but it is not the main priority. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing and creative professional to help shape the intellectual growth of an exceptional child.
The toddler is very verbal, curious, and advanced in certain areas. Her parents want the focus to be meeting her at her level naturally. They are looking for play-based enrichment that includes early math, problem-solving, science, reading books, art, music, sensory activities, fine-motor development, movement, and imaginative play.
They also want someone who can follow her interests, support independent thinking, and keep learning joyful.The schedule will be Monday through Friday for about 2 to 3 hours per morning. This position starts as soon as possible, and the official schedule will be set when the right candidate is located.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead engaging, age appropriate early learning activities tailored to a toddler
- Introduce foundational math concepts and broader enrichment topics
- Track developmental progress and adapt curriculum accordingly
- Foster a stimulating, warm, and consistent learning environment
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and milestones
Qualifications
- Background in early childhood education strongly preferred
- Experience working with young children
- Warm, patient, and creative teaching style
- Comfortable designing individualized curriculum for a toddler
- Should be comfortable following household food-allergy and safety protocols
Requirements
