Technician - MIA

Summary/Objective: The technician/installer at Miami International Airport position logs and troubleshoots all assigned door service and associated low-voltage electrical and maintenance work. This position is customer-facing performing preventative maintenance and emergency service.

Key Responsibilities

• Work effectively in a team environment to monitor, log, resolve, and escalate issues with development, test, and production dispatcher.
• As needed, provide after-hours support of our service environments including, but not limited to, issue resolution, application installations, and service monitoring.
• Follow the established operations procedures to ensure timely resolution or escalation of issues.
• Act as liaison for internal and external communications directly with departments and clients as required.
• Provide status reports of the work performed by conversations and completing work order reports.
• Interact with customers at the technical level, as required .

Requirements

• AAADM and other technical certifications, a plus.
• Prior experience in automatic doors and access control preferred.
• Prior experience in hydraulic automatic operators preferred.
• Knowledge of hand tools, door hardware and basic electronics.
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background check and a clean driving record. Fixed hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
