Job Description We are currently seeking lateral associate attorneys with a minimum of 3 years experience practicing workers’ compensation defense litigation, to join our Workers'

Compensation

team in Columbia. The job responsibilities of this position include:

  • Performing legal analysis on new and existing claims to develop a case strategy
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients
  • Reviewing and analyzing medical records
  • Drafting of pleadings and responding to discovery
  • Taking depositions and attending mediations
  • Attending hearings before the South Carolina Workers’

Compensation

Commission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Workers'

Compensation

Defense Litigation required

  • Currently licensed in State of South Carolina
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, have strong research, writing and verbal communication skills, and be able to work independently with the support of Partners and staff. Additional Information Work Environment:
  • In-office position, with remote work capabilities provided as needed.
