  • Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precaution to establish safe work environment. Skilled in assisting with a variety of treatments and medications as directed. Skilled in taking vital signs. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and English grammar.
  • Excellent keyboard and computer skills, including electronic medical records, patient registration/billing system.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical and other staff.
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to read, understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly. Able to both lead and take direction. Monday-Friday, Weekend rotation, One holiday per year and flu clinic
