Job description
Overview
An Upper East Side family is seeking a full-time nanny to join their established caregiving team and support their growing household. This is a highly collaborative role within a staffed home. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working alongside other household staff and parents to create a positive, well-supported environment for the children.
The family has four young children (ages 5.5, 4, 2.5, and 1) and is expecting a new baby in December. During the day, the primary focus will typically be the youngest child while the older children are in school. A dedicated Newborn Care Specialist will support the baby during the early months, and once the older children return home from school, care is shared amongst the caregiving team.
This is a structured household where routines, consistency, and teamwork are highly valued. The family is looking for a nanny with strong energy, a playful spirit, and a genuine love of working with children. Someone who enjoys outdoor play, staying active, and engaging with children in a hands-on way will thrive in this role.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM–7:00 PM. Above all, the family hopes to find a long-term nanny who is excited to grow with the children and become a trusted member of their caregiving team. The hiring timeline is immediate, though the family is willing to wait for the right fit.
