Compensation
Pay Range: $25.25 - $35.36 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain patient's safe passage in and out of the practice
- Greet, assess and interview patients
- Obtain past medical and surgical history, family history, social history, vital signs
- Review present medications, allergy history, chief complaint
- Prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider
- Anticipate needs of patients, and the provider
- Monitoring of patient during examination, or procedure
- Maintain and update level of skill for pertinent paramedic duties
- Maintain patient care areas
- Stocking and ordering of supplies as needed, and maintaining clean exam rooms
- Charge and code supplies, medications, and procedures
- Respond to patient's concerns in person or by telephone while simultaneously documenting the problem
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Administers medications and IVs per physician’s orders
- Perform a variety of preliminary procedures, including phlebotomy, injections, throat cultures and more JOB REQUIREMENTS Required Certification EMT-P Current Massachusetts Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Licensure Preferred Certifications BLS – Basic Life Support Required additional Knowledge and Abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Schedule and Location vary weekly, including rotating weekends and holidays . Required - 2 weekend shifts per month. Operation hours Monday - Friday 9a-7p (10-hour shift), Saturday - Sunday 9a-4p (7-hour shift)

ACLS (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life
- Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), Basic Life
