Overview
BayCare Medical Group , a physician-led medical group, is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join our established team of three Endocrinologists at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida . This opportunity is located on the hospital campus, with convenient access to a variety of multi-specialty BayCare Medical Group practices, creating an ideal environment for collaboration and continuity of care. Position Highlights:
- Join an established and respected team of 3 Endocrinologists
- Enjoy a 1:4 shared call schedule – promoting work-life balance
- Practice located on the Morton Plant Hospital campus with easy access to imaging, labs, and subspecialty care
- Diverse caseload of general endocrinology , including diabetes, osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal disorders.
- Be part of a physician-led group that values your input and clinical expertise
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient consults and outpatient clinic care
- Prescribe and manage hormone therapies and other treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
- Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers across the BayCare network
- Educate patients and families on endocrine conditions and self-management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and educational activities to advance the field of endocrinology and enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Current or eligible Florida medical license
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in diagnosing and treating a broad range of endocrine conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and evidence-based practice Company
