Job Summary
As a dance instructor, you will be a passionate and outgoing individual who will positively impact the community by creating a welcoming environment for our students and families. You will motivate and inspire students to learn by creating an engaging, positive, and productive learning environment while establishing a high level of confidence and program value. Hours Needed This is a part-time contractor position with set hours.
Monday- Friday 2:30pm - 5:30 pm
Compensation
Pay is based on education and experience
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
will include but not limited to the following:
- Manage and educate students in an individual and group setting
- Establish academic goals and milestones with students
- Document and communicate progress reports
- Provide constructive feedback for students
Qualifications
Full mastery of subject area; specifically middle and high school math Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with students and parents Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Experience working with children preferred CDA or DCF 40 hours preferred
