What You'll Do

As Center Director, you'll provide leadership that ensures children receive exceptional care and education while supporting and developing an outstanding team.

Responsibilities

include:

• Lead daily operations of the center
• Recruit, coach, and develop teachers and support staff
• Ensure compliance with all NC Child Care Licensing regulations
• Create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment
• Build strong relationships with families and the community
• Manage enrollment, staffing, and scheduling
• Oversee budgets and fiscal responsibilities
• Maintain licensing, health, and safety standards
• Foster a culture of teamwork, growth, accountability, and fun
• Support curriculum implementation and continuous quality improvement What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is a compassionate leader who enjoys mentoring others and believes every child deserves an incredible start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• North Carolina Level III Administrator Credential (or ability to qualify)
• Minimum of two years of experience in an early childhood education setting
• At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Passion for supporting children, families, and educators Required Certifications
• CPR & First Aid
• ITS-SIDS Training
• BSAC (Basic School-Age Care)
• Playground Safety
• Other required NC DCDEE trainings or the ability to obtain them upon hire
