Responsibilities
- The Youth Director is responsible for Freedom’s youth ministry: Freedom City Youth
- Recruit, train and retain volunteers to carry out the ministry.
- Develop, implement and manage a strong volunteer training system that will equip volunteers to serve with excellence.
- Ensure school evangelism is happening every week.
- Oversee and manage all week to week operations for youth ministry.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for youth ministry
- Dream, plan, promote, execute, follow up for all youth conferences, summer camp, winter camp, school events and special events
- Ensure every Friday youth service is planned out in advance and executed.
- Develop and implement a plan to ensure youth attendance is growing every week
- Meet with the Care ministry director every week to go over all volunteer care reporting, FFC recruits and Salvation reports.
- Participate in all creative planning meetings.
- Manage and develop core leadership teams at all campuses.
- Meet regularly (weekly) with core leaders to ensure consistency and timing and to hold leaders accountable.
- Work closely with facilities and construction to make sure the building is always left cleaned up and back in order.
- Work closely with every other ministry regional to make sure all services are excellent.
- Work with all lead youth coaches/ FFG leaders for the health of all students
- Sunday night coaches meetings.
- Create and manage monthly budgets utilizing all processes and protocols set by Finance Department
- Supervision and oversight of all Summer and Winter Camps, Lifestyle of Freedom Level 1 & 2, Freedom Family Class, Dream Team
- Cleanliness and Organization
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of work space
- Staff is expected to schedule 30 minutes at the beginning of shift to ensure cleanliness and organization of work space Qualifications/Skills:
- Ability to work with current technology and adapting to technological changes
- Ability to learn and adapt
- Ability to lead volunteer teams
- Ability to recruit volunteers
