Vertrax was built to empower midstream and downstream fuel suppliers with cutting-edge ERP and logistics solutions designed to address the complexities of the energy industry. Our mission is to simplify the demands of fuel operations, drive efficiency, and give businesses a genuine competitive edge.

Different by design, Vertrax is business technology purpose-built for the fuel industry. Our unified platform brings together two solutions. Vertrax Energy ERP  is a commercial-grade, cloud-native back-office system that delivers real-time insights into every operation and automates the order-to-cash workflow.

SmartDrops  handles dispatch and logistics, including optimized route scheduling, driver performance tracking, and delivery analytics, built directly into Vertrax Energy ERP for seamless, live data communication. More than a product, Vertrax is a community of partners, customers, and creators dedicated to helping fuel businesses thrive on their own terms.

In 2026, we joined Acumatica as a dedicated business unit, combining our deep industry expertise with the momentum, scale, and platform strength of a cloud ERP leader. Our culture is collaborative and high-energy. We are passionate about our product and mission, guided by our commitment to teamwork, partnership, creativity, agility, and integrity.

  • Improve application speed, scalability, reliability, and usability through performance analysis and sound engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality assurance professionals, and engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
  • Use Git, npm, and related development tools to maintain code quality, version control, and build automation.
  • Troubleshoot defects, resolve production issues, and contribute to continuous product improvement.
  • Participate in Agile planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Stay current with modern front-end, back-end, cloud, and user-experience practices.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years of professional software development experience, with substantial hands-on front-end development experience.

  • Proficiency with Git or a comparable version-control platform.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, usability, browser compatibility, and front-end performance.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
