Role

Overview

This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.

Requirements

• 1 year experience required.
• Neuro experience preferred not required.
• 1 year of EPIC charting experience required.
• Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Active SC or multistate license required
• 1st time travelers accepted. Required Clinical Skills :
• Starting IVs, accessing ports, managing PICC & central lines, peripheral IV care, blood product administration, PCA & heparin protocols
• HFNC, nasal cannula, trach management
• Telemetry (remote), dysrhythmia interpretation & management, Rapid Response Team use
• CVA care, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, pre/post neurosurgery, continuous bladder irrigation, isolation precautions, surgical drain management, Feeding tube care Schedule:
• Shift hours: 3 x 12 hr.
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other
