Company Description McWane Ductile New Jersey is an industry leader in manufacturing water distribution and infrastructure products. As our country expanded, so did the need to supply growing cities with clean water and safely remove wastewater. Our location history starts in 1865 when Warren Foundry and Machine Company casted stoves, steam engines, mill gearing and other foundry related items.

Currently we specialize in the casting of iron ductile pipes that range from 3" to 24" in diameter. Job Summary

As a Programmer at McWane Ductile NJ, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that optimize our foundry operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our systems and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement user-friendly Power BI Reports that will be used by senior management.
  • Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code to meet established standards and guidelines.
  • Identify and resolve software defects, bugs, and performance issues promptly, ensuring smooth operation of critical systems.
  • Utilize your expertise to develop robust and scalable software applications tailored to the unique needs of our foundry operations.
  • Manage and optimize SQL databases to ensure data integrity, reliability, and efficient retrieval, crucial for real-time decision-making in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain version control using Git to facilitate collaboration among development teams and ensure codebase integrity.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, operations, and IT professionals to understand requirements and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 Years of experience in programming or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Power BI/Power Platform, Delphi, SQL, and Git.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
