Amerisure is recruiting for a Policy Services Representative to join our team! This role will be hybrid 3 days a week in the local office & 2 from home. Office locations include Atlanta GA, Charlotte NC, Chicago IL, Dallas TX, Farmington Hills MI, Indianapolis IN, Phoenix AZ, St. Louis MO or Tampa FL. POSITION SUMMARY: Supports Underwriting/Programs by processing routine to complex multi-line, multi-state transactions for new business and renewals within established production capacity. Ensures all support activities are delivered in accordance with company procedures, service standards and business priorities. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Screen transactions to determine authority and either process or refer to an underwriter in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Gather, validate, and apply required rating elements from applications, underwriting instructions, rating bureaus (including NCCI), Prometrix, Reference Connect, and company guidance for new and renewal business.
  • Accurately enter policy data and rating elements into the policy rating system and review system output to ensure correct application of rating factors.
  • Monitor and complete, as assigned, work tasks assigned to the Rapid Response queue.
  • Maintain complete and compliant rating documentation within the paperless policy environment.
  • Research and resolve routine to complex issues for Credit, Claims and Premium Audit.
  • Provide endorsement quotes and process policy transactions, including declinations, cancellations, reinstatements, and non-renewals.
  • Respond to inquiries from agency partners, regulatory organizations, and the Rapid Response Team.
  • Handle service‑related requests such as loss runs, legal notices, proof of coverage, experience modifiers (eMods), and other required regulatory documentation.
  • Provide guidance and support to new underwriters and staff on rating, workflow, and underwriting support processes. REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of business or customer service experience.
  • Commercial insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Strong Analytical Thinking skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite.
