Transit Operations Clerk Location: Durham, NC Employer: Grace Federal Solutions Schedule: Part-Time | Night Shift — We Need Professionals Who Take Safety Seriously. Grace Federal Solutions is hiring a dependable Transit Operations Clerk  to perform transportation and paratransit (Americans with Disabilities Act/Van Services) scheduling, routing, and dispatching duties within a structured transit program. This is a critical role serving a healthcare and campus environment. Professionalism, punctuality, and sound judgment are non-negotiable. • Safely operate passenger vans and non-CDL buses in full compliance with DOT and traffic regulations
• Follow assigned routes and dispatch instructions accurately
• Conduct detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Complete required logs, manifests, and incident reports
• Maintain clear two-way radio, telephone, and computer communications with dispatch
• Provide transportation and paratransit dispatching when required to students, employees, and disabled individuals daily.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting as needed
• Respond professionally to service questions and concerns
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols
• Attend required safety trainings
• Assist in the planning and scheduling of transportation routes for the campus and medical center routes and the assigning/reassigning of drivers/vehicles. Schedule Details
• Primary schedule: Night shift (5:30 PM – 1:00 AM)
• Must be flexible for nights, weekends, and holidays as required Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this role.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating mini van or larger vehicles
• Valid North Carolina
• Strong understanding of safe vehicle operation and traffic laws
• Professional communication skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams
