Sr Build And Release Engineer

Minimum Qualifications

*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and 7+ years of experience in software development or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. *4+ years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) *5+ years of experience in database technologies

Preferred Qualifications

*5+ years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports *7+ years of software and/or build automation experience. *

• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools *
• Strong programming experience in scripting and interpreted languages; (python, ruby, java, perl, etc) *Programming experience with shell scripts; (bash, sh, zsh) *Capability debugging build compiler and linking errors in multiple coding languages *
• Experience automating and building systems for both windows and Linux environments *
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Bamboo. *
• Experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across all environments. *
• Experience building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure. *
• Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments with many, many nodes. *
• Experience with automated testing tools (i.e. Selenium, JMeter) *Prior experience in automating a real-world production system *
