Our clinic provides a wide range of medical services, including wellness and geriatric care, full-body digital radiography, ultrasounds, echocardiograms, endoscopy, complex dentistry with digital radiography, reproductive services, and both general and advanced surgery, including orthopedics, bone plating, pinning, and more. Wooster Animal Clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm and Saturday from 8am to 1pm.

Job Description We’re Looking For: A courteous, organized, and confident Veterinary Practice Manager to oversee daily hospital operations, team performance, client service, and administrative functions.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can multitask, communicate effectively, and create a positive, efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Include:
- Lead, coach, train, and develop hospital staff; provide feedback and performance evaluations.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, schedule, and manage team members in partnership with hospital and regional leadership.
- Support employee relations, resolve conflicts, and address client concerns professionally.
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, workflow, and client service.
- Manage inventory, ordering, equipment, controlled substances, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, OSHA, DEA/controlled substance requirements, and other applicable protocols.
- Monitor payroll for accuracy and timely submission.
- Support marketing and community outreach to promote the hospital.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure veterinary terminology and practitioner instructions are properly documented.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding appointments, clinic policies, costs, and treatment instructions.
- Work closely with doctors and hospital leadership to support the practice’s goals, culture, and overall success.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experienced or Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a minimum of 1-year management experience preferred or 3+ years veterinary experience preferred
- knowledgeable in veterinary medicine terminology and how to run a veterinary hospital
- Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
- Highly organized and possess computer skills
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset
- Open availability with flexibility to change hours based on hospital’s needs Additional Information *Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates. Pay Range: $55-60K annually plus incentives We offer our staff:
