Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Frisco, TX Physical Therapist Outpatient Full Time Salary range: $80,080.00 - $108,804.80

Compensation

depends upon candidate’s years of experience Seeking full-time physical therapist to treat primarily an orthopedic caseload with variety of diagnoses ranging from chront pain to post-operative, vestibular, etc. Candidate would be joining large multi-disciplinary team and would be expected to contribute to building the orthopedic caseload and presence in the community. Ideal candidate takes initiative to solve problems and accomplish tasks.

Is able to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers, as well as referral sources. Opportunities for mentorship and clinical excellence support available.

Responsibilities

  • Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
  • Patient Case Load Average: 10-12 patients a day
  • Timely and accurate documentation using TherapEBridge
  • Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports
  • Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement
  • Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed

Qualifications

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
  • Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations. #BSWIR-Outpatient Additional Data
