Job Description
- 3-5 years of experience in Red Hat Linux administration. Should be able to work on redhat RPM and deliver tar bundles for build automation
- Ability to build and support Hadoop clusters
- Ability to trouble-shooting bigdata eco-system tools hive, pig, spark etc.
- Able to create/edit the shell Scripts
- Experience with firewall technology and proven ability to trouble-shoot issues
- Expertise in firmware upgrade, OS patching and installing software packages
- Perform Server builds and linux administration at the node and cluster level
- Hands-on experience of VMware administration is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication techniques – written and verbal.
