Job description
Overview
The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated DME Fitter. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The DME Fitter will perform in-clinic and hospital (pre- and post-surgical) fittings of various orthopedic devices.
The DME Fitter must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
Responsibilities
Education required: HS/GED Experience: Minimum one-year full-time clinical experience in direct patient care setting Additional Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational, time management and writing skills
- Ability to speak clearly and concisely
- Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
- Independent and highly motivated
- Initiative and self-discipline
- Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history
