Commercial HVAC Service Technician – D2/S2 Licensed

HVAC D2 or S2 Licensed Mechanic Pay: $35.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience Location: Southington, CT Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time | In-House We are seeking an experienced HVAC D2 or S2 Licensed Mechanic to join our team and provide maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of commercial HVAC systems for a customer in the Southington, CT area. This is a stable, in-house opportunity with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and potential for overtime and weekend work as needed. Essential Duties &

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Operate and maintain commercial HVAC equipment and related mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential equipment issues.
• Maintain current trade licenses and required certifications.
• Follow all applicable requirements under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act and federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Attend required safety training.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be flexible to work overtime and weekends as business needs require.

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut D2 or S2 HVAC license required.
• Extensive commercial HVAC experience.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills.
• Clean driving record.
• Boiler and steam experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and professionally in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Physical

Requirements

• Ability to regularly walk, stand, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairways.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. frequently, 51–100 lbs. occasionally, and 101+ lbs. seldom.
• Ability to work around mechanical equipment and in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Must maintain a neat and clean appearance and properly utilize all required protective equipment.
