Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist (PRN/ Per- Diem) Location: NovaCare Havre de Grace, MD
Compensation
$50.00 - $55.00 /Hr. Incentives: In-person and online CEU Courses NovaCare Rehabilitation in Bowie, MD, is seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic outpatient team. This is a great opportunity for a therapist who enjoys working with upper extremity (UE) cases and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are ideally looking for a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) or an OT with at least 2 years of experience in upper-extremity rehabilitation. Schedule: As needed, per diem hours are available. Our center is open as early 7A closing at 7P Monday through Thursday and until 2P on Friday. Part-time (steady hours) are possible. Why Choose Us:

Responsibilities
- Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management.
- High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
- Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge.
- Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
- Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred Additional Data
