Category:   Global Business   Sustainability / ESG / Compliance Experience Level:   Mid-Senior Level   (5–8 Years) Location: based onsite at one of the Jabil locations listed JOB SUMMARY Jabil is   seeking   a collaborative and execution-focused Global Sustainability   Compliance Specialist   to support the implementation of the company’s   global   sustainability and compliance roadmap in preparation for evolving global regulatory and customer requirements. This lead role reports to the Director- Global Compliance & Corporate Sustainability and will play a critical part in coordinating cross-functional initiatives that support environmental ,   social   and governance  (ESG) reporting   objectives   across Jabil’s global operations. The successful candidate will help drive execution of existing programs and ensure alignment across business functions including operations, supply chain, legal, EHS, procurement, finance, and customer-facing teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced global environment with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving requirements.   Strong communication , relationship-building,   data   analytics   and project coordination skills are essential, along with the ability to translate complex sustainability requirements into practical business actions. This position requires effective collaboration across international teams and   may involve occasional   domestic and international travel, as well as participation in meetings outside of standard local business hours to support global operations. Internal applicant note: While the role is currently scoped at this professional level, there is flexibility to adjust leveling based on the candidate’s experience and scope. What can you expect to do?

  • Support implementation and ongoing execution of Jabil’s global sustainability and compliance initiatives aligned with established corporate strategies and regulatory readiness plans , including a lead support role for preparing the company for the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)   and updating materiality assessments.
  • Maintains sustainability risk assessments and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities related to sustainability reporting,   ESG   compliance, greenhouse gas (GHG) data management, and customer sustainability requirements.
  • Monitor emerging sustainability-related regulations and reporting requirements and support internal readiness activities in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, EHS, and operational teams.
  • Support enterprise sustainability reporting activities, including coordination of internal data collection, validation, documentation, and submission processes.
  • Supports Mergers & Acquisitions ESG Due Diligence and   integration   efforts.
  • Support Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 greenhouse gas data collection, calculations, documentation, audit preparation, and reporting activities.
  • Supports product carbon footprint analyses from a governance perspective to ensure legal reporting and labeling requirements are met.
  • Assist   with tracking sustainability metrics, project milestones, action items, and program deliverables to support corporate goals and regulatory readiness.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among global stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and   timely   completion of sustainability-related initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards, and supporting materials for leadership reviews, customer engagements, and internal communications.
  • Support sustainability-related due diligence activities associated with acquisitions, divestitures, and other business initiatives as needed.
  • Contribute to talent development and knowledge-sharing initiatives by supporting training, collaboration, and continuous improvement efforts across teams.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in   Environmental Science   or Natural Science,   Engineering ,   Business/Finance ,   Legal,   Data Analytics   or related   field required .
  • 5–8 years of experience in   regulatory   compliance,   sustainability, ESG reporting,   data analysis and reporting,   project/program   management   or related disciplines.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional projects within a complex global organization.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks, greenhouse gas accounting principles, and evolving .
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively across   various functions .
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative working relationships and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced   proficiency   in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business reporting tools.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and support occasional meetings outside normal local business hours.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on an occasional basis.
  • Must be available to work full time at a local Jabil site.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, electronics ,   or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with sustainability disclosure frameworks .
  • Experience supporting greenhouse gas inventories, decarbonization initiatives, or supplier sustainability programs.
  • Knowledge o f   global sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting global operational or transformation initiatives in a matrixed organization.

Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
