Job Description We are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist with experience in general radiography to join our team in an acute care setting.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and radiation protection guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient care
- Maintain proper documentation and imaging records
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a General Radiographer Experience in an acute care setting required Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Military training acceptable) Certifications & Licensure: Current certification and registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license (NYSDOH) BLS certification preferred Schedule & Additional Information: Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM (Overnight) Alternating weekends required Must be available to work weekends and holidays In-person interview required Two weeks of training (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), including EPIC system training Additional Information Additional Details: Strong attention to detail and patient care skills required Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
