Aventura Dental Excellence is now seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant in Aventura, Florida! As a Full Time Dental Assistant, come join our community of collaborative, high-quality clinical, business and operations professionals. This is a wonderful location in Aventura with easy access to the practice, convinent parking, and a great team to work with!
Full Time Dental Assistant Schedule with 60 minute lunch breaks: Tuesday 9:00am - 5:00pm Wednesday 10:00am - 7:00pm Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm Once a month Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pm *Practice growing and may be open Mondays as well To learn more about this practice: www.aventurafloridadentist.com Full Time

Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentists chairside
- Welcomes patients
- Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
- Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
- Instrument sterilization according to regulations
- Maintains accurate patient records
- Lab tasks as instructed
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories
Qualifications
- Active Florida Radiation X-ray certification required
- EFDA Required with at least 2 years experience
- Dental Assistant training/school certification
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Experience with digital software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
