Company Description DiverseLynx is a leading provider of information technology, consulting, application, IT infrastructure and Recruitment services provider headquartered in NJ Job Description Title: Java Job Type: Contract Job Location: Jersey City New Jersey Job Description: This role is sourcing for 2 candidates This position is a developer role in the Capital Markets Credit Risk Technology team based in Jersey City, NJ. The resource will contribute to both existing efforts and new Strategic initiatives. Mandatory Skills -

• Proven track record of being able to quickly learn new technologies and hit the ground running - Self starter – can take direction and then go code and deliver independently with minimal oversight from their manager - Understands how to provide good timing estimates and can identify risks early on (and doesn’t wait to the last minute to ask for help). o
• Excellent verbal and written skills and knows how to communicate across mid to large development teams - Knows and understands how to write effective test cases that validates their already supremely written code -
• Strong understanding of core Java with experience in either a large GUI, Grid Computing, Messaging or Big Data environment o
• Experience and strong understanding of a few additional technologies that typically are used in that environment they worked in (i.e. GUI -? struts, spring, javascript; Big Data -? Hadoop, mapR) -
• Strong experience SQL with a large scale DB Vendor (i.e. Sybase, Oracle, SQL Server, Db2, etc.) -
• Experience and understanding of agile methodologies Desirable Skills - Python -
• Design experience – can conceptualize and architect an infrastructure. Can then explain it to another developer or product manager who is not as familiar with it. - Note - C# and related technologies can be substituted for Java if the above soft skill bullet points are evident Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
