Job description

Overview

The Huntsville Hospital Wound Care Center is a fast-paced clinic focused on healing patients with chronic, non-healing wounds. The clinical team works together with our Providers to ensure patients' treatment plans are designed with a speedy, sustaining recovery in mind. The team approach requires each member to be open to collaboration with the patient, fellow team members, Providers, and auxiliary departments within the healthcare arena.

Patients often attend appointments on a weekly basis, creating an opportunity to connect with them, and ultimately drive change within their lives to heal and remain healed. If you are driven to make a difference with those in your community, the Wound Care Center is where you belong!

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge,

Skills and Experience

required: Education: BSN preferred. Graduate of accredited school of nursing with current Alabama license required.

  • Experience: Prefer three years varied clinical experience as RN Additional Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage situations related to family and visitors, patients of varied ages and needs, physicians and other hospital departments. A positive attitude toward healthcare members and diverse patient populations. Proficient computer skills. Exhibits diplomacy and time management skills. Demonstrates efficiency and organizational skills. Detail oriented.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
