Senior Import Consultant

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Establish clear and concise communications both internally and externally
• Research Customs and Partner Government Agency regulations Draft analysis and opinion letters Audit entries Audit and assess importer compliance with U.S. Customs regulations
• Manage multiple ongoing projects and project deadlines
• Track project time daily
• Contribute to departmental improvements
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred U.S. Customs Broker license preferred 5+ years’ import compliance experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong understanding of U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agency requirements Proficient in Word and Excel.  Access database skills preferred.
