Build & Release Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or equivalent and 7-10 years related work experience. Need to be familiar with Linux, OSX, Windows operating systems
• Experience using bash/perl/python scripting or other languages in Linux and Windows environments
• Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to root cause compilation errors in Java and C/C++
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Familiarity with Open Source Software environment, package management, and community participation
• Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Provide maintenance for build lab hardware. (Patching, hardware failure replacement)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, XML, Java, and JavaScript
• Experience with software development tools such as Subversion (SVN), VersionOne, etc. Networking methodologies and configuration desirable to maintain build network(s)
• Experience with .Net, Visual Studio and Windows development environments
• Familiarity with Micro Focus products
• Familiarity with RPM based packaging and distribution
• Familiarity with mobile devices and mobile device applications for app store distribution
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMWare XEN
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools like Nagios or Ganglia
