Responsibilities
Freedom Kids Co-Lead is directly accountable to The Freedom Kids Overseer The responsibilities of a Co-Leader include the following: Creative Direction: Monthly creative direction and theme execution with the goal of creating energy and excitement in our monthly series:
- Monthly planning & direction for Freedom Kids themed series
- Execution of promotional timelines pertaining to all events
- Event coordination & planning for the following:
- Easter
- VBS
- Christmas
- Harvest Fest
- Back To School
- Church Conferences
- Summer Events/Outreaches
- Creative planning meeting facilitation
- Responsible for developing leaders in meetings
- Creatively planning out all Freedom Kids special events
- Creating quarterly/yearly Freedom Kids calendar
- Working on promotional timelines
- Event gameplans & playbooks Evangelism: Assisting with evangelistic efforts for Freedom Kids
- Coordination and execution of weekly evangelism at schools, parks and recreation to coincide with all Freedom Kids special events.
- Ordering of all print and promotional materials for special events.
- Promotion/Planning/Execution in local communities to bring awareness. Administrative Organization: Managing ministry finances
- Responsible for the finance responsibilities of the ministry which include the following:
- Monthly budgeting/Event budgeting
- Supplies/Inventory Management and Ordering
- Classroom purchases
- Pex Reporting (inputting all receipts weekly)
- Submitting all Financial requests through Jot Form
- Managing all the financial costs associated with Freedom Kids and allocating funds properly Classroom: Early Learners Classroom
- Responsible for all aspects of the Early Learners Core Teams
- Meet with Core leaders weekly to review:
- Volunteer health reports
- Scheduling and game plans
- Growth and development
- Curriculum
- Follow up
- Safety systems and protocols
- Cleanliness and organization
- FFC recruiting and retention
- Check off lists Impact Classroom: Responsible for all aspects of the Impact Core Teams
- Meet with Core leaders weekly to review:
- Reviewing of Volunteer Health reports
- Scheduling and game plans
- Growth and development
- Curriculum
- All necessary ministry follow up
- Safety systems and protocols
- Cleanliness and organization
- FFC Recruiting and Retention
- Check Off Lists
- Responsible for the full service provided in Impact Classrom which includes:
- Working with Praise & Worship Teams
- Working with Media Team
- Working with Sound Team
- Coordination of Guest Speakers
- Weekly Craft Ideas & Implementation Cleanliness and Organization
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of work space
- Staff is expected to schedule 30 minutes at the beginning of shift to ensure cleanliness and organization of work space
- Onboarding New Volunteers and Orientation
- Events
- Child Care 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 6:30pm sessions Qualifications/Skills:
- Must have own reliable transportation
- At least 1 years of verifiable experience
- Be detail oriented
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a PLUS
- Proof of Driver License and Insurance
- Physical ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Pass background check
- Good Communicator
- Team Player
- Loves working with children
