Job Summary

USD $16.50 Hourly Shift Hours- (4 -10 hour days)

  • Shift A 10hr shift-6am to 5pm. Monday through Thursday
  • Shift B 10hr shift-6am to 5pm. Tuesday through Friday. Note: New hires start out on A team. The Production Technician Level 1 at PowerShades is an entry-level role responsible for assisting in the processing, assembly, testing, and packaging of motorized shading systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our products meet quality and performance standards. The technician will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing, Assembly and Manufacturing:
  • Process materials and Assemble components for shading systems according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate basic hand tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Follow work orders and production schedules to meet daily output goals.
  • Testing and Quality Control:
  • Perform functional testing of finished products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
  • Identify and report defects or discrepancies in materials or workmanship.
  • Packaging and Shipping Preparation:
  • Package finished products securely for shipment.
  • Label products accurately according to customer orders and specifications.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Complete production logs and quality assurance checklists accurately.
  • Communicate any production issues or delays to the Production Supervisor. Outstanding

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills. Physical

Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Occasionally required to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. Work Environment:
