Job description

The Senior Program Manager, Quick Commerce NYC Strategy will own the development and execution of the strategy to launch and scale Quick Commerce across New York City. NYC presents unique challenges across real estate, site design, delivery, operations, technology, and regulation that require a market-specific approach. This role will use data to determine where and how we should operate, identify where the standard Quick Commerce model needs to adapt, and develop solutions that balance customer experience, speed, cost, and scalability. The Senior Program Manager will work cross-functionally across Real Estate,

  • Design, Operations, Last Mile, Product, Tech, Finance, Legal, and Public Policy to translate the NYC strategy into an executable roadmap. This role will own complex, cross-functional workstreams from strategy through launch, develop data-driven recommendations for senior leadership, and drive decisions across teams where there is no established playbook. Key job responsibilities -
  • Own the end-to-end NYC Quick Commerce strategy and launch plan, spanning network, real estate, design, operations, delivery, product, technology, and regulatory workstreams. -
  • Develop data-driven network and coverage recommendations using customer demand, delivery speed, site economics, capacity, and real estate availability to determine where and how QC should scale across NYC. -
  • Evaluate site-level business cases and operating scenarios, quantifying trade-offs across coverage, CAPEX, delivery cost, operating cost, and launch timing. - Define the NYC operating model, identifying where the standard QC model can be applied and where NYC-specific solutions are required. -
  • Develop the delivery strategy by geography, evaluating e-bike, DSP, vehicle, and alternative delivery models against cost, speed, density, capacity, and operational feasibility. - Translate NYC-specific requirements into product and technology roadmaps, defining requirements, prioritizing capabilities, and developing interim solutions where needed. -
  • Partner with Real Estate,
  • Design, and Operations to evaluate site feasibility and design alternatives for constrained urban footprints. -
  • Assess the impact of regulatory and policy changes and translate them into clear recommendations for network, design, delivery, and operating decisions. -
  • Build scenario analyses and executive recommendations for high-impact decisions, clearly defining the data, trade-offs, risks, and recommended path forward. -
  • Own the integrated NYC critical path, identifying dependencies and driving cross-functional decisions required to maintain launch timelines. -
  • Establish and track NYC launch and business KPIs, using performance data and post-launch learnings to refine the model before subsequent site launches. -
  • Present NYC strategy, performance, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership, driving alignment on decisions required to launch and scale the market.
