Job Description AIR Communities is hiring an Apartment Leasing Sales Consultant for Highlands Grand Terrace in Grand Terrace, California.

This is more than a leasing role. It is an opportunity to build relationships, guide prospective residents through an important decision, and turn interest into signed leases. You will lead the leasing experience from the first inquiry through move-in, providing responsive service and confidently communicating what makes the community a great place to live.

What We Offer

  • Base Pay of $19-20 per hour plus uncapped commission opportunities with multiple ways to maximize earnings.
  • Multiple opportunities to increase commission per lease including:
  • Higher rent rate unit :  Updated finishes, larger floorplan, better view, etc.
  • Exceeding monthly goal :  Several tiers to increase percentage of total lease value earned per lease
  • Longer lease term :  18-month or longer vs. the standard 12-month length

What You Will Do

  • Turn qualified prospects into residents through prompt follow-up, personalized recommendations, and engaging tours.
  • Identify each prospect’s needs and confidently present the apartment home, amenities, and lease options that best fit them.
  • Address questions, overcome objections, and guide prospects toward a leasing decision.
  • Build and manage an active sales pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly leasing goals.
  • Maintain accurate prospect activity, appointments, and next steps in AIR’s leasing systems.
  • Create an exceptional experience for prospects and residents at every interaction.
  • Support community marketing initiatives and leasing needs across the AIR portfolio.
  • Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and Regulations

Qualifications

  • Collaborative, accountable, and committed to exceptional service. What You Have
  • At least 1 year of sales and customer service experience in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • A demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales, leasing, conversion, or revenue goals.
  • Experience guiding customers through the sales process, from initial interest through close.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and objection-handling skills.
  • Comfort learning and using leasing, CRM, and communication technology.
  • Availability to work during community office hours, including weekends as needed. Hours may vary by community and season.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional Information
