Dev Ops Engineer (Build & Release Engineer)

Job Description We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer for a long-term consulting role with a leading Fortune 500 organization in the Charlotte area.

Qualifications

Business Skills:

• Customer Service attitude is essential
• Ability to multitask and maintain productivity with frequent interruptions
• IT Helpdesk experience a plus
• Ability to write and follow technical documentation
• AGILE development methodology (nice to have) Technical Skills:
• System administration experience in at least one tool preferred
• Hands on with Java compiling, packaging and debugging preferred
• Windows and windows command line
• Basic knowledge of Unix commands
• Batch or shell scripting desired but not required
• Build scripting with gradle (preferred) or ANT
• Debugging build failures
• GIT setup – Build automation
• Setting up Continuous Integration builds using Jenkins (preferred) or another tool
