Job Purpose Supports market and manufacturing quality by executing inspections, tests, and data collection against Honda standards, documenting nonconformances, and assisting with root cause and corrective actions under close guidance. Ensures accurate records and compliance with applicable procedures and regulations. Key Accountabilities List the key accountabilities that must be carried out to fulfil the job purpose. % of time

  • Execute production and product quality inspections, testing, and data collection activities 30%
  • Review quality results against established standards and identify deviations 25%
  • Document defects, nonconformances, and investigation findings in quality systems 20%
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation under guidance 15%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum Experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or technical support roles
  • Exposure to product or process inspections, testing, or data collection activities
  • Basic understanding of quality systems, standards, and documentation requirements
  • Experience reviewing procedures and following established quality processes
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments and production workflows
  • Experience supporting investigations or corrective actions under supervision Other Job-Specific Skills

  • Identification and documentation of quality defects and nonconformances
  • Selection of appropriate procedures for routine inspections and testing
  • Escalation of quality issues to senior staff per established guidelines
  • Prioritization of assigned inspection and documentation tasks
  • Recommendation of corrective actions based on observed deviations Working Conditions Identify the working conditions and physical demands which relate to the essential functions of the position(e.g.,physical requirements,work environment,travel,necessary OT,etc.)
  • Primarily manufacturing or office-based with regular production floor presence
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes in controlled environments
  • Frequent interaction with quality, manufacturing, and engineering staff
  • Participation in audits, inspections, and testing activities
