Overview

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN Location: HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness in Smithfield, PA Schedule: Per Diem, PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri) Specialties: ortho, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, oncology (ReVital), and a Fall Prevention Program. HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness in Smithfield, PA, is seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our per diem (PRN) team . This opportunity is ideal for PTAs with outpatient experience who are seeking flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. We match our coverage needs with your availability to build a schedule that works for both you and our Smithfield, Westover, and Morgantown outpatient centers . Our Outpatient Orthopedic Center Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: as early as 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Friday: no later than 2:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
