We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision-machined components in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes while maintaining tight dimensional requirements. Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision-machined components in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills and lathes while maintaining tight dimensional requirements. What You’ll Do

  • Review and interpret machining drawings and technical specifications.
  • Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills .
  • Develop and modify programs using G-code .
  • Work with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain controls; experience with every control is not required.
  • Machine parts to tight tolerances, including requirements as close as 0.0005" .
  • Inspect finished work using calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges .
  • Maintain consistent part quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Follow established safety practices while working around heavy industrial equipment.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and a professional work ethic.
  • Work scheduled hours, including occasional Saturday shifts.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. when required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with CNC programming and machine operation .
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and machining prints.
  • Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes.
  • Knowledge of G-code programming.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
  • Ability to follow safe work practices in a heavy industrial setting.
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to work the required schedule. Work Environment This is a hands-on machining position in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment . The successful candidate should be comfortable working extended shifts and handling materials up to 50 lbs. when required.
